How often do you clean your make up brushes?

I got some new make up brushes for Christmas. They're the Sonia Kashuk (white handles) from Target. I was just wondering...how often should I clean the brushes?





I have an eye shadow brush, eye angle brush, comb brush, powder brush, and blush brush.How often do you clean your make up brushes?
You should probably clean them every couple of weeks or so. Maybe every month. When you just leave them, bacteria starts to grow on them and then by using the brushes; you spread the bacteria onto your face. That can cause acne. But that's mostly for the blush brush.





Bacteria still isn't good though, so I'd clean them as often as possible.

I love that set. :] if you use them everyday, i would wash them all once a week. Use warm water and a gentle shampoo or brush cleaner. pat off the excess water with a cloth and let them dry overnight.

but i usually use my fingers bc

I just clean mine when they need it to be honest, like if i have used a black eyeshadow or when my blusher brush gets clogged up. I would say definately clean them at least once every 6 moths though :)
You should do it about once every 2 weeks if you want to be really hygienic, otherwise once a month.
Well I do it every week... but there are four girls living together and we all use the same brushes... but you should do it at least twice a month.
if you use liquid foundation or cream eyeshadow, daily, otherwise once a week.
I never do which is really really bad but you're supposed to once or twice a month
