ANddddd where can i buy these products? What are the most common make-up brushes?
first off... never get brushes off of ebay!

if i had to only pick ten brushes....

1. powder kabuki

2. foundation/concealer brush

3. blush brush

4. contouring brush

5. angled shadow brush

6. crease brush

7. eyeliner brush

8. pencil/smudge brush

9. flat brush (to pack on pigments)

10. eyelash separater

i would start out in a set. although sets are not always the best quality, you get more for your money. i got a great set (red brush in silver pouch) from sephora and i couldn't be happier with them

here's a link: http://sephora.com/browse/section.jhtml?鈥?/a>

MAC is awesome, but i don't use them because they are made of animals, so i prefer different fibers

eco tools , everyday minerals or sonia kasuck (sp) are okay if you need somethign cheapWhat are the most common make-up brushes?
I would suggest using MAC brushes, they're perfect and last long too!

For eye shadow, I recommend the 217 blending brush and 219 pencil brush.

For blush and face powders, I say get the 116 blush brush, and the 150 powder brush.

You can get them at any MAC store, or their online store =]
I'm guessing what you mean by common is the essentials. Well, you need a good blush brush, powder brush, eyeshadow brush, and, if you wear it, eyeliner brush. An eyebrow brush helps too. Well, to start off, you need a good eyebrow tweezing. Well-groomed eyebrows open up the eyes and face. Now, before you start applying makeup, wash your face well. Dry off and apply a toner- it cleans up soapy residue and removes dirt. Next, slather on a moisturizer. Wait 10 minutes. Apply primer in the same places you apply foundation. Dab foundation on your forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, and neck. Blend it in. Use a concealer on blemishes, and an under-eye concealer on bags and dark circle. Dust a translucent powder all over your face to set foundation, make it last longer, and remove shine. For this, use the powder brush. Now take a fluffy blush brush and swirl it in blush. Smile, and use blush on the raised part. Once that's done, you can use it on your temples for a natural finish. Moving on to eyes. Use the eyeshadow brush to apply colored eyeshadow to the ball of the lid. Use a shimmery skin-colored eyeshadow on the area beneath the brow and above the ball. Since you're only just starting with makeup, I doubt you're old enough for eyeliner. Now use a mascara on the top lashes (2 coats) and bottom lashes (1 coat). Use a tinted lip balm and your favorite gloss. I know it sounds like a lot, but if you do it correctly, only the eyeshadow and gloss will seem obvious.
