How do you clean your make up brushes?

Like I know your supposed to clean your make up application brushes often but i don't get how your supposed to clean them. Just with like soap and water or do you buy a special cleaner or what?

I use a little blob of my daily face cleanser (Avene Soapless Gel Cleanser) and simply wash them gently with some warm water.


Afterwards I place them on a towel to dry.

it actally depends on what type or what company you have! If you have MAC the result of you washing your makeup brushs in warm water will make them look neat and tidy, but if you have some other unknown company you will likely not get a to good a lovable result ... mark my words...LOL
Some brands have a special cleaner, but nothing works better than warm water and an antibacterial soap. Just put some soap on your hand and get a lather going, then sort of massage the brush until the water runs clear (no more makeup on the brush).
It is best to throw them away and purchase new.
