What is this make-up brush used for?

I got a make-up brush set and there is this one brush that i dont have a clue about. Wonder if you can help me?





It is flat,thin and is in the shape of half a circle.Its a big brush.

sounds like a fan brush. use it to apply powder, bronzer or blush lightly. or use it to sweep off eye shadow that has fallen from your lids onto your cheeks.What is this make-up brush used for?

that sounds like a foundation brush its for applying liquid foundation
This is a fan brush and really useful for sweeping away fallen powder from under your eyes.





A foundation brush is pretty fat and is normally taklon (ie. synthetic). Powder brushes are generally hair.





You can also use for applying powder such as bronzer or highlighter. As it is wider, it stops you from applying too heavily in one place so you don't get a stripy effect.

sounds like a foundation brush, to use it u put some founation on the back of ur hand and dab as much as you need onto the brush stroking outwards on ur face...............
A fan brush? To apply face masks and loose powder or colour like bronzer or blusher

EDIT: A foundation brush isn't the shape of half of a circle and isnt usually flat... mine certainly isn't anyway. I'm pretty sure it's the fan brush you mean.

if that isnt what you mean it is a foundation blush which is used too apply ..ummm ...well foundation!
