Not sure, but if you go to a make up counter at a mall or something where they give out free makeovers, ask them, and I'm sure they'd have an answerDoes anyone know how professional make-up artists steralize their brushes?
There's various sterilizing methods, but the best is to use alcohol (at least 90% strength) because it won't dry out brushes like soap and water will. There are also brush cleaners that you can buy, but they usually aren't any better than if you just use the alcohol.
