What are the best make up brushes to use? there are 2 types that i can see advertised........?

But I dont know which one is the best!! I need proffesional ones as I am doing a make-up course but i dont want to buy the one the school is selling as they are charging a bomb!!What are the best make up brushes to use? there are 2 types that i can see advertised........?
people don't believe me but i get natural bristle brushes at ''michaels' (or any upscale craft store like this).

they work as well as or better than the 'professional' brushes and can hold up to many more washings.

the fan brushes are great for applying masks to the face.

i am a professional hairstylist, massage therapist , and esthetician in va. and i have had SO many other professionals ask where i get my brushes so they can get the same ones.

i know what the mark up of professional brushes is and i REFUSE to pay it when i can get better quality for less money. What are the best make up brushes to use? there are 2 types that i can see advertised........?

Good brushes are expensive. Buy the best you can afford. Is there a store that sells ';professional'; cosmetics- one that specializes in cosmetics ';for the trade';? They will have good quality brushes that will hold up after the repeated(!) washings pro brushes must endure. You may find that the school's brushes are not that expensive after all. Cheap brushes are more expensive in the long-run because they won't do the job as well(and so take more time and effort) and need to be replaced more often
I use makeup brushes from Pout and they are great!
Hi i am a second year student in media make-up, my brushes are by Charles Fox, based in Covent gardens. You can also purchase them from Freestylehair.co.uk where you can buy anything from film blood to hairdressing scissors. I hope thats of some help to you.
