Mild shampoo or facial cleanser is your best bet but rinse them completely or it can ruin your brushes. How can i clean my make up brushes when i don't have a brush cleanser?0?
Try anti-bacterial hand soap.
use your fingers and flick the powder out of it the get a damp wash cloth and pat the brush on it.
use a mild soap for now but for the future, buy a bottle of Dr. Bronner's Castille soap. I bought mine at Trader Joes , i never recall seeing it anywhere else. This soap was actually voted best makeup brush and sponge cleaner in a beauty magazine for it's effectiveness and mildness. One big bottle will last forever.
After washing it, gently press out excess water, fan it to it's original fluffiness, and then tape the handle of it somewhere so that the brush is pointed downwards to let the water drip out. You don't want any water going into the brush base and wood.
use a mild shampoo... i use baby shampoo.. and i make sure they're really dry by soaking the wet brush in rubbing alchohol then letting air dry...
PLUG THE SINK. THEN FILL IT WITH WATER.. THEN PUT ALL YOUR BRUSHES IN THE WATER. THEN PUT SHAMPOO OR ANY KIND OF CLEANING LIQUID INTO THE WATER THEN JUST START WASHING UR BRUSHES WITH THE SOAPY WATER. THEN RINSE THEM OFF THE DRY THEM !!!!
Shampoo works good, just remember to rinse them thoughly.
either DAWN dishsoap or use a hand sanitizer on them so their disinfected.
Baby soap or shampoo, or antibacterial liquid soap. Make sure that you get all the soap out, blot the bristles with a paper towel to get excess water out, then lay flat to dry.
use liquid hand soap and let them air dry
use mild soap and warm water
use gentle shampoo foam, rinse and pat dry
i use shampoo first and then i use conditioner, i mix both of them with warm water and then i let it sit in each. and rinse with cold water.
I put some of Suave's Daily Clarifying Shampoo in my hand, swirl my brushes in it, rinse them well, shake out the larger, fluffier ones, and then lay them on a towel to dry. This shampoo is pretty gentle but most any shampoo will work.
You are able to use a gentle shampoo to cleanse your mak-up brushes, but make sure that after cleaning them that you rinse well, and form the hairs of the brush back to the orignal shape.
