What is the best way to clean make up brushes?

Those ';special'; makeup brush cleansers are basically baby shampoo. Do this:

-In a small vessel, pour a few squirts of baby shampoo and combine with several cups of water

-Dip your brushes in this solution, swirling them around, and use your fingers to move the bristles around to get the solution everywhere

-Once you get them clean, dump out the water and rinse the brushes with cool water thoroughly, again moving the bristles around to make sure the soap has washed clean

-Dab the brushes on a paper towel and let them air dry

Do this every two weeks to maintain germ-free and clean brushes. What is the best way to clean make up brushes?
Best way to clean makeup brushes ( and for it to work) is to soak them for 2 minutes each in jonhsons baby oil and then damp then with warm water and towel dry gently.

Baby oil keeps the (hair) in the brushes and prevents them from breaking off and snapping during the process of washing.

at sephora and other makeup stores they have specific cleansers for brushes that usually come in a spray bottle. you have to get a cleanser depending on if your brushes are real hair or fake. they aren't that expensive either.

good luck!
This is an old trick

1.Run a warm sink fall of water

2.Add some gentle soap

3.leave your brushes in there over night

4.leave to cry
You never want to use water that is too hot.

Luke warm water. You can use a baby shampoo or gentle cleanser. Rinse. Shape them . Lay them down to dry.
Use a gently face cleanser and soak them in that, Rise them and then pat dry them with a towel, and let them air dry =]
Since they are made from hair I usually use shampoo. Then dry with a towel and leave out to let finsish air drying. It has worked for me.
put them in real hot water and let them fall off then glue them back on
I would use warm water with a cloth or paper towel. It might not be the best way, but it works for me!
go to sephora my friend says that they have great makeup cleaning stuff
gently spin them on a cloth towel
soak them in water
