they are kind of expensive brushes so i definately dont' want to ruin them!!How can i clean my make-up brushes without buying brush cleaner?
Dish soap is commonly used and will not harm your brushes. Just be careful not to ruff them up while cleaning them and be sure to gently push them back into shape before they dry.How can i clean my make-up brushes without buying brush cleaner?
Use mild shampoo and Luke water wash gently and rinse thoroughly. hang the brush over the edge of the sink so that all of the bristles can dry evenly
what i do is use warm water in a basin, lather my hands w/ soap, and then brush the brush back and forth on my hand, until i see the water getting clear. especially w/ my foundaiton brush, i have to make sure i brush it against my fingers in a way to get all the makeup out, and when u rinse it and clear water comes out, then it is clean. :) good luck
Use baby shampoo, it's extremely gentle and will remove the makeup for your brushes. You could also us a foaming face cleanser but baby shampoo is better.
ur hair shampoo should do the trick nd air dry
use warm water, and mild soap, or a face wash, gently, let air dry
You can use a mild soap and water.
go back and forth on your hand
You can use any soap-free claenser that you would use on your face, such as cetaphil or purpose. Dry them very carefully on a towel and srtaighten out the bristles.
wash them with water
Try washing them with soap and water or try baby oil and wash it with water.
gentle shampoo, like Johnson's baby wash or something like that.
I use Ivory liquid soap. It is gently enough to clean them properly. It gets rid o all the oils, accumulated makeup dust, etc. And it smells good too!
Wash them with care, using a drop or two (depending on the size of the brush) Then rinse with warm water and lie your brushes in a towel til they dry. Good luck!
just wash them with warm water and mild soap...i do it all the time to the most expensive makeup brushes. I use mac.
These are all great answers the two most important things are that you make sure they are thoroughly clean in the process and that you make sure they are totally dry before you store them or use them again.
My inexpensive brushes, I wash by hand with an antibacterial liquid soap in warm water and let them air dry for at least 24 hours.
My luxury brushes, are not only great brushes, but sturdily designed. They stand up to a cycle in the dishwasher which heats to about 154 degrees and gets all the yucky germs. The dry cycle is great when I just don't have the time to wait the 24 hours. DO NOT try this with cheap or synthetic brushes! You will ruin your brushes AND your dishwasher. If you're at all uncertain about the quality or composition of your brushes, stick to washing them by hand!
Use a mild shampoo and rise with clear water. Let air dry.
