You can get some pricey brush cleaning solutions from a high end make-up counter or my MAC consultant said you could also use something gentle like baby shampoo. I personally use the baby shampoo about once every other month. What is the best way to clean my make up brushes?
I wash mine in liquid Dial antibacterial hand soap. I wet them down then squish the soap through them. I rinse then repeat, and repeat until they rinse clean. Then I lay them on the bathroom counter on a towel with the heads of the brushes hanging over the edge so they dont get flat. What is the best way to clean my make up brushes?
Regular Shampoo and conditioner...
No really...alot of the m/u brushes that are used are made of natural hairs.
or if you want to be fancy Use MAC's brush cleaner but put it in a spray bottle and water it down a bit. 3/4 cleaner and 1/4 water.
The girl at the mac counter told me i could use baby shampoo. It's gentle and cheap. But hold your brushes upside down when u wash em. That way the water doesn't run into the ferrule and loosen the glue.
Get a brush cleaner- like MAC brush cleaner or Sephora brush shampoo. Use them to shampoo + condition brushes. They have instructions on the bottle - cost ~ $10.00
