How do i clean my make up brushes?

and how often do i have to clean them? my brushes are from the body shop, so they are not the regular ones like hair, they are synthetic, very soft and smooth though, i have been using my set for a while and want to clean them. how do i do this? how often do i have to clean them and im curious, do i put conditioner? How do i clean my make up brushes?
rinse them in warm waterHow do i clean my make up brushes?
shampoo and warm water or if they came with brush cleaner and you can use conditioner if they are real hair, you dont need conditioner on synthetic brushes
I wash mine about every 2 weeks with warm water %26amp; hand soap. That's what most makeup artists recommend. I usually take a wide tooth comb gently to them after. Leave them to dry over night. You'll be amazed and what comes off them!!
I used to work there and they told had us use dish soap! Sometimes we would use the Tea Tree face wash but that was just because it was in the store and it was free for us to use, but its not a bad idea because tea tree is a disinfectant. They will stay soft, don't use conditioner!
Use ordinary tap water, very warm, not hot and a few drops of dishwashing liquid, the anti bacterial kind. Detergent is detergent...you want to get them clean and remove old makeup, germs, bacteria, etc. This is the best way to do it. Rinse thoroughly, and dry by gently squeezing water from brushes with a clean, dry cotton towel. Dishwashing liquid removes grease, and dead skin and oils from brushes and kills bacteria. It does not hurt hair or synthetic brushes.
conditioner? no i wouldnt that puts moisture and oils onto the hair and you dont want them on your face. to kill bacteria you could buy some barbicide like they use in salons or you could just do soap an water but dont leave them in for more than 15 minutes prolonged exposure can cause the bristles to fall out
Run some warm water and put the bush in it and put some soap on it and dry it off. Makes them clean. The make up person @ Victoria Secret told me.
Antibacterial dish soap. Then rinse them well with hot water. To kill all the bacteria without damaging the brushes.
Check out the source for Cindy Crawford's details on how to clean makeup brushes.
I always wash mine in shampoo and warm water. I read it from a magazine.
Makeup brushes can harbor lots of dirt and bacteria, but frequent washing of your makeup brushes can keep them - and your face - clean and healthy.

Instructions

STEP 1: Run the bristles of the makeup brush under warm running water.

STEP 2: Apply a small amount of shampoo to bristles and work into a light lather.

STEP 3: Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water. You will notice that the water leaving the brush is tinted from old makeup.

STEP 4: Continue rinsing until no color leaves the brush.

STEP 5: Allow it to air-dry.
I clean mine about once a week. Just swoosh them in water and soap if necessary or a eye makeup remover. Then place them bristles up in a cup to air dry. If there's glue holding it together, then lay theem on their side and flip often and floof.
wow i just tried the steps and it is ammmaaazzing...i highly recomend the answer with the steps
Squirt cleanser into a bowl and fill with hot water. Swish your brushes one by one in the bowl then rinse the brush under running cool water. squeeze the water out, reshape the brush head, lay flat on some paper towel and let them air dry.

I use Lumene Cosmetic Brush Cleaner that I get from CVS. It works very well. You can also use Baby Shampoo.
clean them like once a month with this http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

smashbox is a cruelty-free company, so it won't damage the hair on the brush
