Do you have to clean your make-up brushes with the same brand cleaner?

I know you can use soap and water basically but what if I wanted to buy a brush cleaner. Does it have to be from the same brand as the brush? I have different brand brushes, bare escencuals, vincent longo, clinique...???Do you have to clean your make-up brushes with the same brand cleaner?
No, u can just use a mild shampoo if u want and let them air dry.. Make sure they are completly dry b4 using them again

i just get a rag damp, lay it flat on a table, and swirl all my brushed on it so it cleans off. it works
No, it does not have to be the same brand as the brush, but it should be designed to clean the type of brushes you are using.

I use baby shampoo. Why buy something with all those chemicals in it?
I don't think so. Just make sure they are thoroughly rinsed and completely dry.

the only brushes that it really matters with is MAC but everything else it is ok to mix and match. but if you do it is worth it to spend a little more and get the good stuff. its not worth it to screw up your brushes
I don't know that it matterns, i would stick with something gentle. You wouldn't want to chemicaly burn any synthetic brush material.
