Whats an easy an inexpensive way to clean eye-make up brushes at home?

use olive oile to get gel eyeliner off brushes then shampoo.Whats an easy an inexpensive way to clean eye-make up brushes at home?
Either A. Olive Oil

B. Dawn Soap (they use it to clean animals of harmful chemicals like oil spills so it works really well. But just make sure you only use a SMALL amount and get all the suds out)

C. Apple Cider Vinegar/White Vinegar. Mix with water and it will work fine. shouldn't leave too much of a smell.

D. Baby Shampoo. Again, like the Dawn make sure all the suds are out.

Hope I helped and Good Luck!

P.S. to dry just set out on a dry cloth (after squeezing out excess water) and let air dry.

just run it under the tap for a little while massaging it gently with fingers. When you have finished gentle run along a towel and leave to dry. hope i helped. p.s don't use soap because it makes the brushes sudsy if you don't wash correctly and it will mix with eye shadow... nasty. =) hope i helped
You can either use shampoo then conditioner

Use a moisturising soap

Use baby oil.

Simply fill the sink with a little warm water, apply what you are using to the brush and just scrub a little, you can use the back of your hand or the base of the sink.
Baby shampoo is a great way to clean make-up brushes. It's gentle and easy to rinse out because it doesn't leave a greasy residue. Plus it smells good. :) It only requires like a pea sized amount. I highly recommend it.
I soak mine in a cup with some dawn dish liquid, then gently massage water out with your fingers, roll them between your palms to re-fluff them and place them on a papertowel to dry.
