Sephora brushes and tools are excellent quality and worth every penny!
MaxFactor.

A lot of make-up artists uses it.
MAC and Bobbi Brown do excellent brushes, I really love the ones that I have
The best makeup brushes that every girl should have are MAC makeup brushes, i have so many of them, they are the best brushes ever and they will last 25 years if well looked after!!

They are handmade, and professional to make makeup look extra good, they are expensive, but sooo worth it! You can buy them cheaper from ebay but make sure you use a genuine seller with 100% feeback who is a power seller!
I have a combination of MAC brushes and some from the Sephora line as well. Brushes are something that you shouldn't be afraid to spend a little money on, if you take care of them, they'll last you forever. You can buy special brush cleaner, but anti-bacterial soap and warm water will do the trick as well.

Both are available on the respective websites, look for sets to save some cash and don't forget to check the clearance sections too!!!
i have a bunch of brushes from different brands, natural and synthetic, and all shapes and such.

mine are from avon, mark, estee lauder, arbonne, essence of beauty, palladio, etc.

i wash them weekly, and i have had most of them at least 5 years and they look as good as the day i bought them.

smashbox makes great brushes, as does stila... and a lot are dual-ended, so you get more for your money.
I think Bobby Brown.
MAC!!!!
I would have to say Models Prefer Cosmetics brushes are the best on the market. QVC normally have them in stock, but I did find the 5 piece (10 head) sealed brush kit on the link below its a buy it now item on ebay.
Loriel, because your worth it!
purple dot are the best, these brushes are made by a pro makeup artist for professionals.

If you google search purple dot then site will come up , they are cheaper than the so called pro brushes in shops and if you check out the press relaese stuff you will see the industry think they are the best too.

I am a make up artist myself and although not all my brushes are purple dot yet they will be in the future as the pd's i have are fab. hope this hepls Ade.
Harris brushes, available at all good hardware stores.
Hello I do not know if the quality is still the same but my mum gave me a set of YSL brushes over 20 years ago they have been used everyday and washed every two weeks and they still look great, no hair loss, no staining to the bristles and the handles have no chips or cracks.

They might be worth a look.
I love, love, love The Body Shop brushes, they are a little expensive, but totally worth it. they are really soft and clean up well.
Body Shope Brushes are my fav.
The very best ';professional make-up brushes'; are at Bee-Luscious. These are real professional brushes NOT retail type brushes. You can find them at:
