My make-up brushes smell really bad after I just washed them. How can I make them smell better?

You need to rewash it in Dawn Dishwashing soap. Then squeeze it out with a wash cloth. and if you don 'wash' them, use conditioner, it keeps the bristles soft.
Have you had them for a long time? If you have just throw em out and buy new ones. If there somewhat brand new try washing them with good smelling shampoo. It always seems to work for me.

use some baby powder on them if that don't work i would say buy new ones they don't cost that much.
I had the same problem until I went to the drug store and bought a cleaner made for cleaning make-up brushes. I washed them twice in it and then used my shampoo to clean them one last time and that seemed to freshen them up. I also found that cleaning them more often helped. I have very oily skin and my make-up brushes get gross very quickly. I clean my brushes 2 or 3 times a month.
If you have had your make up brushes for a while get rid of them and buy new ones. Wash your brushes with your face wash and let them air dry.
Try spraying your favorite scent on it so it doesn't stink so much :)
